Cornwall's first purpose built cinema for 70
years is well under construction with St Austell's new cinema taking
prime place in the White River Place town centre redevelopment scheme.
Mark Williams of WTW Cinemas who will be operating the cinema commented
'We have been allowed on site for the first time this week (3rd June),
and progress is good. Having had further meetings with the builders and
contractors we are confident of a late 2008 opening for this very
exciting scheme. We are greatly looking forward to reopening in St
Austell and are confident that the cinema will provide a first class
facility for the people of St Austell and the surrounding area.
