The FilmCentre in St. Austell is giving members of the public the opportunity to acquire a unique piece of cinema memorabilia by auctioning for charity the complete 'Star Wars Trilogy' cardboard standee which has been on display in the bar area of the foyer. The standee originates from when the trilogy (Star Wars - A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi) was digitally remastered and re-released in 1997. The standee is complete and in excellent condition, and features such characters as Luke Skywaker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Han Solo and Jabba The Hutt.
All proceeds from the auction will be given to the Mount Edgcumbe Hospice. The only condition for bidding is that the standee must be collected from The FilmCentre. The closing dates for bids is Thursday March 21st at 12:00 noon. Current Highest Bid -
